In March 2022, AIGA SD hosted a panel about accessibility and inclusivity in design. We received many wonderful questions, but we ran short on time and couldn't answer all of them. We will be bringing those questions and more to our follow-up round table. Join us for our Round Table - Let's Talk About Accessibility in Design on January 19 from 12-1pm. Bring your questions and we will focus on them through the lens of design and try to break down how we as designers and artists can design with accessibility and inclusivity in mind.
We’ll discuss questions like:
- What design tools are helpful for making accessible work?
- What accessibility standards are often neglected in web design?
- How to stay up-to-date with best practices?
