Event description

Description

In association with the recent broadcast of The Vietnam War by Ken Burns and Lynn Novick on PBS, join LEDA and WGVU Public Media on November 30, from 6pm to 8pm, for a “World Café” small group conversation about race relations during the Vietnam War era, 1955-1975.

The World Café model provides an inviting atmosphere where every individual is encouraged to contribute authentically and truly listen to one another. By connecting diverse perspectives and focusing on what matters to those who have gathered, deep listening can occur where answers emerge alongside questions that will take participants deeper into the issues at hand.

We encourage you to watch all or part of the documentary in preparation for the round table discussion: http://www.pbs.org/kenburns/the-vietnam-war/watch/
