Grades: 3rd-12th Grade (as of January 2012)

This is a two-day camp that will help youth get kids in the outdoors and acquainted with outdoor activities, outdoor survival, and outdoor knowledge.  Some of the activities youth may be involved in are outdoor cooking, water quality, fishing, hiking, canoeing, archery, animal tracks, gps,and more!

 

Dates / Places:

 

July 30th – Mantua Campground

 

1st Mantua Exit follow road and take first right onto a downhill windy road.  Bottom of the windy road take left.  Take second left and then down small hill and take first right.  We are the camp by the bathrooms on right side of road.

 

 

 

July 31st – Mantua Lake

 

We will be on East side of lake.  You will need to go around the North side of lake.  Directions: Go North down Mantua Main Street until you come to 750 North, take right down road.  When you reach end of road take right again.  Drive down road until you get to the Mantua Lake East Parking Lot.

 

 

 

Time:   9:00 a.m. – 3:00 p.m. each day
            Includes Lunch

 

8th -12th graders can be Youth Leaders.  Youth leaders have no cost but will need to arrive @ 8am on Monday for a short training.

Registration due by July 23rd.  However space is limited, we will take campers on a first come, first serve basis.
