Rough Francis are a musically adventurous band from Burlington, VT. Core members Bobby, Julian, and Urian Hackney represent the second generation of unsung Detroit rock pioneers, Death. With Tyler Bolles on bass, the band embraces the same mixture of garage and proto-punk as Death as well as accents of new-wave inspired 80’s hardcore. Their latest record, Urgent Care, came out in 2020. Links: Bandcamp SpotifyIGFBWebsite
Way of the Headband was born under a covered bridge, by a brook and a cackling fire. It was in the forests of New Hampshire, when they were just Headband, that the way began to take shape and the sounds and words they heard in their minds sounded like something the world needed. So they heeded the call. Now they spread the word, of rock and roll, for young and old.
Some say their sound starts its vibrations upon the frequency of instinct and winds its way up the spine into something akin to a spiritual experience. Others say that they wake in the morning with WOTH songs echoing through their heads like errant dreams only to be relieved by a sound listening. Any way you look at it (or listen), WOTH will make its way into your head.
We call our style "Lava Rock", an ever changing flow of everything we love in musical form. Join Orion, Andrew, Adam, Marshal and Rafe as they prepare to release their third full length album EVERYTHING IS FINE this Winter. Stay tuned, Headbandits. We've only just begun.
