Time: 6:30pm

Where: Embassy of Venezuela, 2443 Massachusetts Avenue, NW, Washington, DC 20008

Tickets: $25.00 per person which includes dinner.

Attire: Business Casual


Please join us for the Installation of our 4th Rotary Club President, Patrick DeLeonibus, our 2017-2018 Rotary Club Officer Installation Ceremony and Rotary Club Awards Ceremony. 

Tentative Program

6:30pm to 7pm: Arrival of guests

7pm: Welcome by Rotary Club of Federal City (Washington, DC)

7:05pm: Remarks by District 7620

7:10pm: Remarks by Embassy official

7:15pm: Remarks by Keynote Speaker

7:20pm : Rotary Officer Installation Ceremony

7:40pm : Remarks by President of Rotary Club of Federal City (Washington, DC)

7:45pm: Entertainment (Venezuela)

8:00pm: Dinner

9:00pm: Program ends.


Security: Due to security reasons, we are unable to accept walk-in/on-site registrations. All Rotarians, Rotaractors, students and guests must be registered for the event. As requested by Embassy officials, all guests are required to submit one photo I.D upon entering embassy grounds - - acceptable forms of photo I.D includes U.S Driver's License or a U.S or foreign passport. Location: The Embassy of Venezuela has two location and our event will be at the location on Massachusetts Avenue, NW. 

Metro: Dupont Circle (Red Line). The metro is a ten minute walk to the embassy. There is no street parking on Massachusetts Avenue, NW. However, there is street parking on the side streets. Alternatively, you may use uber or lyft to get to the embassy.

Rotary Club of Federal City (Washington, DC)

The Rotary Club of Federal City (Washington, DC) is the fourth club in Washington, DC. We were chartered by Rotary International on December 18, 2013. Since our formation, we have been involved with organizations in the District of Columbia such as DC Beautifican Project, A Cleaner Ward 7, KEEN (Kids-Enjoy-Exercise-Now), SOME (Some Others Might Eat), Suited For Change, Operation Backpack as well as supporting RYLA (Rotary Youth Leadership Awards), whereby we have sponsored area high school students to a leadership conference. Our largest long term project has been the establishment of the Rotaract Club of American University. The Rotaract Club was was chartered with 101 students a year ago at the Embassy of Pakistan. We will soon be establishing our first international project in the coming months. We have weekly Wednesdays programs at 6:30pm [Club Meeting with speaker on the 1st and 3rd Wednesday, Club Fellowship on the 2nd Wednesday and Club Happy Hour on the 4th Wednesday of each month].
