An opera in two acts by G. Rossini. Do you like adventure? Do you believe in love at first sight? This is a classic fairy tale with a modern twist about Cinderella transforming from a badly treated servant in her own house into a beautiful princess. You will be magnetized by Rossini's sparkling vocal fireworks, gorgeous high notes, exhilarating runs, cadenzas, and finales. Our incredible cast will delight you and you will go home whistling and humming the tunes that made Rossini's La Cenerentola famous among Bel Canto operas. Performed in Italian with English supertitles, in costume, and accompanied by a chamber orchestra directed by Artistic Director Dr. Katerina Souvorova. Sunday, October 16 at 3 p.m., Saturday, October 22 at 7:30 p.m and Sunday, October 23 at 3 p.m.

Bel Cantanti, an opera company, under the direction of Dr. Katerina Souvorova, was formed in 2003 with the express purpose of giving performance opportunities to local, operatic talent.
