Award winning, international photographer, Ross Oscar Knight will have a collection of images entitled, Everyday Life India, on exhibition at the First City Art Center in the Long Hollow neighborhood of Pensacola, FL from October 3 – 30. With its historic roots inception in 1999, the center has been designated ‘The Little Art Center That Could’.
Ross Oscar Knight is known for capturing raw emotion and seeing beauty amidst the harsh realities of the human experience. Knight is a member of the Professional Photographers of America and his work has been featured by CNN, Oprah Winfrey, HGTV, the NBA, and Forbes. The photo stories he produces have also caught the attention of 20th Century Fox and Lifetime Television.
On display at the First City Art Center will be Knight’s encounters from his 2009 and 2011 travels to both rural villages and bustling city centers in India. Visitors will enjoy the taste of traditional Indian hors d'oeuvres, lively music, and a special belly dancing performance -- all while viewing images from Tamil Nadu, Gujarat, Rajasthan, New Delhi, and Kerala. The exhibit features interactive hanging window frames displaying photographs printed on both archival cotton and metal substrate.

Knight has many future plans to engage others to learn more about people from different cultures. As an engineer turned successful artist, he seeks to help others in their artistic photographic endeavors.
