Rosen Day

The Queen's University Department of Ophthalmology is excited to present the 14th Annual Rosen Day Symposium on Retina.

This year's lineup of world renowned speakers Wong Tien Yin, Guarav Shah, and Alan Cruess, along with program faculty Sanjay Sharma, and Tom Gonder will spend the day discussing the latest in diagnosing, treating, and managing retinal disease, and offer an insightful glimpse into emerging treatments in the field.

Highlights in the program include Managing a Patient with Dry Age-Related Macular Degeneration, An Update on Vitreous Surgery for the General Ophthalmologist, and Disruptive Innovation in Ophthalmology and Implications for Future Practice.

Other topics will include the diagnosis and treatment of retinal vein occlusions, surgical and medical management of macular holes and epiretinal membranes, hypertension and the retinal vasculature, retinal tears and detachment, along with some panel discussions and case presentations.

This event is an Accredited Group Learning Activity (Section 1) as defined by the Maintenance of Certification Program of The Royal College of Physicians and Surgeons of Canada, and approved by Queen's University Office of CPD. You may claim a maximum of 6 hours.

What's the refund policy?

You can get a full refund from this website up to seven (7) days in advance of the event. Up until two (2) days prior to the event, you can receive a full refund by contacting RosenRegistration@queensu.ca, however the refund will take approximately two weeks to process, and will not include refund of the service fee. Cancellations within the last 48 hours are subject to a $75 fee covering per-person expenses which can no longer be refunded.

When are tickets on sale?

Tickets for this event can be bought any time up until the Sunday immediately before the event (Sunday 6 May, 2018). After that time, you may contact us directly to inquire about being placed on a waiting list should any cancellations occur.
