Description
Explore this traditional Norwegian form of decorative folk art or simply brush up on your painting and design skills. Regional styles taught in this class include Telemark, Hallingdal, and Gudbrandsdal, among others. Students paint on a variety of decorative and useful objects. Hansen is an experienced instructor and a member of the Western Rosemalers Association. She is a gifted painter whose work is appreciated throughout the United States. All levels of painters are welcome. Enrolling in at least three classes is recommended. Participants can purchase materials from the instructor for an additional fee ($12 for two brushes; $10 for an 8-inch plate; $8 for paint).

Cost: $36/day for Members; $40/day for general admission
Class sizes are limited and registration required, so please register in advance. Courses will be cancelled with full refund if minimum enrollment is not met. No refunds or credit for missed classes. Please note that no outside food or drink is allowed in the new Nordic Museum. All participants, including those pre-registered, must check-in at the Admissions desk.
