About this event

Featuring musical performances including UF's Afro-Pop Ensemble and the Pazeni choir; food trucks including Chef JJ's Caribbean fusion and M & D West African Cuisine; fun children's activities; roselle cooking workshops, u-pick roselle and other in-season crops at market; farm tours; and more!

Activities provided by Working Food, Farm-to-School, Florida Organic Growers, Frog Song Organics, and Grow Hub.

Come out to Frog Song Organics to enjoy the farm and learn about this important Florida crop!

Here are a few tips to help everyone enjoy the experience:

If you are joining us for the tour, please be prepared to walk on uneven ground. We recommend close-toed shoes for your comfort and safety. We will offer at least three walking tours throughout the day.

When you arrive, please drive very slowly and follow signs for parking along the sides of the main path.

Please pick only from designated U-Pick areas. We request that all visitors wash their hands before picking in the field and shopping. Portapotties and handwashing stations will be available. Please be aware some fences are electrified to contain our livestock, please do not pet animals unless invited by a staff member.

Cash & Credit cards accepted. SNAP is accepted at our farmers market for all eligible items. We will have fresh produce, strawberry jam, cane syrup, teas, fresh eggs, and frozen pastured pork for sale.

Parents: please closely supervise your children. We are a working farm and there are possible hazards you can encounter. Please do not run through "bare soil" areas, some of them are planted with seeds waiting to emerge. The round hay bales are a designated play area and great for jumping and playing on.

We recommend bringing the following items for the best farm tour experience:

- Closed-toed shoes for your comfort and safety

- Hat & reuseable water bottle or cup (drinking water will be available)

- A picking basket or bucket if you want to do U-Pick ( we will have paper bags available)

- A cooler with ice packs to keep your produce fresh until you get home, or a reusable shopping bag.

- Picnic blankets or camping chairs

*Please leave pets and tobacco products at home

We look forward to seeing you on October 29!
