Rosebud's Battle of the Barrels 2019
Description
On Monday, April 1st Rosebud will host representatives from Lamplighter Brewing Co. to kick off the annual week-long event with the tapping of their collaboration brew, “The Jaunty Jack”. This beer is a Baltic Porter brewed at Lamplighter that spent 3 months aging in Rosebud’s barrel from their very own Buffalo Trace Single Barrel Bourbon. The name of the beer pays homage to the restaurant that stood at 381 Summer St. before the Rosebud’s now historic diner car was installed in 1941. To celebrate the release of the beer, there will be complimentary snacks from 5:30-6:30pm, along with a number of giveaways including Rosebud & Lamplighter merchandise, gift certificates and even a tour of the brewery!
Each night through the rest of the week Rosebud American Kitchen and Bar will be tapping barrel-aged beers from different breweries from around the country. A representative from the day's featured brewery will be on hand from 5pm to 7pm to discuss their beer and answer questions. In addition to the featured breweries, there will be additional draft and bottled barrel-aged beers from various breweries: The Bruery, Fifty Fifty Brewing, Drie Fonteinen, Cantillon, Almanac and many more!
