ROSE QUARTZ 1: Bystander/Self-Defense Training and Legal Readiness Seminar
The first in a series of workshops aimed at sharing skills and information on how to protect yourself and others during the difficult years ahead.
Please join us for our first workshop on Saturday, December 17 at 6pm in Humboldt Park near North and Pulaski (exact address to be provided day of). This workshop will teach adults how to protect themselves and others during the difficult years ahead, and will conclude with a BYO vegan/vegetarian potluck. Our hope is that the evening will help attendees set up similar events.
This event is open to anyone 21 and over, but those who are less immediately impacted by the urgency of current conditions are encouraged to keep in mind respect and space for those who are more at risk. Proceeds from the $7 registration donation will compensate event organizers and educators so they can keep doing this work. If you can’t spare any cash or if you have questions about the event, email Lakshmi at firstname.lastname@example.org and she’ll help you figure it out.
