Roots on the Rivers is a celebration of American Roots music at Two Rivers Mansion in the Donelson neighborhood of Nashville, TN. This one-day, outdoor, family friendly festival features 2 stages of LIVE MUSIC, a beer garden, local artisans, craft cocktails and food trucks all to benefit WMOT 89.5, Middle Tennessee Public Radio.

Gates open at 11am with performances from 12pm - 10pm

Roots on the Rivers is a family friendly festival, kids 14 and under get in free! New for 2023 a Family String Band Circle where kids and adults can be part of the music and try out a variety of instruments.

Roots on the Rivers proceeds will support programming, broadcasting, and community events at WMOT 89.5 FM , a nonprofit, public radio station broadcasting in 41 counties in Middle Tennessee.

Roots on the Rivers will be streamed live on and; portions of the show may be subsequently aired on WMOT 89.5 FM, and its social networks. Please be advised that your presence as a member of the audience, constitutes your permission to WMOT to film and photograph you.

Amenities include:

• Access to one-day, outdoor event.

• Access to all onsite food and beverage.

• Shop official WMOT and Roots on the Rivers merchandise and artist merchandise.

• Free parking on site. Handicap parking is available.

Additional Ticket Information:

• Each ticket buyer to Roots on the Rivers must present Eventbrite ticket at the gate.

• All sales are final. No refunds or exchanges.

• Roots on the Rivers is rain or shine.

• Bring your own lawn chairs, but NO umbrellas or coolers are allowed.

• WMOT and Two Rivers Mansion will provide covered shelter for weather events.

• Attendees of all ages are welcome. Tickets will be required for attendees age 13 and older. (Ages 12 and under are free.)

• All acts advertised have confirmed their appearance at Roots on the Rivers; however, acts and performance times are subject to change without notice.

• Tickets that are lost or stolen cannot be replaced.

• All purchases of tickets are limited to ten per order.

• WMOT and Two Rivers Mansion reserve the right, without the refund of any portion of the ticket purchase price, to refuse admission or to eject any person who fails to comply with the rules of Two Rivers Mansion, local, state or federal law, or whose conduct is deemed illegal, disorderly, or offensive by management.

• Persons entering Two Rivers Mansion are subject to search for contraband, unauthorized merchandise, alcohol, controlled substances, weapons, firearms, fireworks, cameras, video equipment, or recording devices, which are expressly forbidden. Any persons found attempting to enter the venues with forbidden item(s) will be refused access, or, at Two Rivers Mansion and WMOT’s discretion, allowed to give up the forbidden item(s). Confiscated items will be destroyed or given away at WMOT’s discretion.

• Ticket user assumes all risks of personal injury incidental to the event, whether occurring prior to, during, or subsequent to the event.

• The resale or attempted resale of tickets at a price higher than that appearing on the face of the ticket is prohibited and if discovered will result in the ticket being voided without refund.

• The sale of unauthorized merchandise is not permitted. Purchaser agrees he/she may be ejected from the event if found selling unauthorized merchandise.

• Tickets may not be used for advertising, promotion (including contests and sweepstakes), or other trade purposes without the express written consent of Roots on the Rivers and WMOT Roots Radio.

• Ticket user consents to Roots on the Rivers/WMOT Roots Radio and its affiliates’ use of his/her image or likeness incidental to any video display, transmission, photography, or recording of the event.

• WMOT will be broadcasting live video and audio from Roots on the Rivers.

About the organizer

WMOT 89.5 is a listener-supported National Public Radio (NPR) station based at Middle Tennessee State University (MTSU) in Murfreesboro, Tennessee. As Middle Tennessee’s most powerful music station, WMOT has a 100,000-watt signal that reaches north to Bowling Green, Kentucky and south to the Alabama border.
