Join a 4-week series of 90-min online sessions combining Mindful Movement stretches with a practical Holistic Wellbeing Power-Hour.

The Rooted Movement and Wellbeing Programme is for community leaders, small charity leaders, and their staff and volunteers who live or work in and around West London and South-West London.


Module 2 of the Rooted Mindful Movement & Holistic Wellbeing sessions on Thursday mornings with a focus on wellbeing of the body, led by Amy Rumball.

The Mindful Movement & Holistic Wellbeing Sessions help you build a healthier and more balanced life. Each week, Amy will facilitate a 30 minute Mindful Movement exercise session based on gentle stretching, followed by a Holistic Wellbeing Power Hour to explore a range of wellness practices. The sessions provide simple, actionable steps to help you find balance. By the end of the programme, you'll have a personal toolkit of practical habits for lasting change.

Power Hour Topics*. Module 2 - Body:

Week 1: Movement & Mobility - The benefits of moving the body throughout the day. Using simple stretches, walking, and the importance of posture and body awareness.

Week 2: Holistic Nutrition- A look at the connection between food and mood, with simple, healthy meal and snack ideas.

Week 3: Rest & Recovery:- The role of sleep and rest with tips for improving sleep quality, establishing a bedtime routine, and the value of taking breaks during the day.

Week 4: The Power of Breath- Exploring different breathing techniques and their impact on the nervous system. Show how conscious breathing can be a tool for relaxation and energy.


Session duration: 90 mins

Amy Rumball is an accredited coach, teacher, and the founder of the Nourish Method, a framework designed to help individuals achieve holistic wellbeing and sustainable change. With a background in education and as an NLP Master, Amy specialises in guiding people to build practical habits that create lasting improvements in their mind, body, and spirit.
