Masterclass # 1: Our Path to Zero Carbon Emissions

August 31, 2021 at 10 AM Pacific Time

The road to be carbon positive is today’s most crucial effort. Across the global wine industry, we are working together to not only drastically reduce carbon emissions but actually sequester more carbon than we release without buying carbon offsets. Instead, we’re changing our practices. That takes bold, international and collaborative action.

In this session, we’ll learn from climate scientists, global leaders, and international experts. We will discuss efforts being made worldwide in winemaking, farming, business, and government practices to reach a net- zero carbon future.

Masterclass #2: Smart Water Management Practices for Conservation and Restoration

September 14, 2021 at 10 AM Pacific Time

When it comes to water management, we have to ensure every drop counts while also protecting our watersheds and waterways. That’s because water is one of our most precious natural resources. Through innovative and smart science, it’s possible to dramatically increase water efficiency, conserve water, and actually recharge our aquifers.

Together, we’ll learn from atmospheric specialists, habitat scientists and industry leaders. This session will focus on innovations in water management to dramatically conserve water, the importance of waterway preservation and restoration, and how we can restore our natural aquifers through groundwater recharge and other natural means.
