Drink tickets include a variety of wines, beers, ciders and bubblies.
We are honored to have Shelley Hamilton, manager of the Center for Child Protection at UCSF Benioff Children’s Hospital joining us, to talk about the children and families that they support, and what teaming up with Room Redux has meant to them. Meet and mingle with our Room Redux team, including our founder and CEO Susie Vybiral and our COO Greg Vybiral, hear more about their passion for children and what sparked the idea for Room Redux. All funds raised at this event will be used to support Room Transformations for Bay Area children healing from the trauma of abuse; a new room provides them with an opportunity for a fresh start, allowing these children to bloom.
Room Redux is a nonprofit organization that focuses on transforming the rooms of children healing from the trauma of physical or sexual abuse. A new room can be a powerful tool to foster healing, as many times the abuse occurs in the child’s very own bedroom, making it a scary place to be. As a result, children may stop sleeping in their own bed or start acting out, they may also become depressed, avoiding their room entirely. Through your donations, grants and sponsorships, and the input from counselors, therapists, parents and caregivers, Room Redux volunteers personalize and fully transform these children’s rooms in just one day, providing them a safe, loving and comfortable space in which to heal and thrive.
