About Erik:
Erik Patterson is a screenwriter, author, playwright, and teacher. His film and TV work has been recognized with the Humanitas Prize and the Writer's Guild Award, as well as two Emmy nominations. Erik is perhaps most known for writing the iconic Radio Rebel ("I am Radio Rebel") for the Disney Channel and Another Cinderella Story for ABC Family, as well as numerous romantic films for the Hallmark Channel, including the Sister Swap films, Love Under the Stars, Love on a Limb, and Love at First Bark. As an educator, he created Your Daily Writing Prompt on TikTok, where he shares writing tips with his 300k followers. He is currently working on a series of writing prompt books for Simon & Schuster, including the recently released craft book Write a Romantasy: 99 Writing Prompts to Craft a Tale of Heart and Heroism. Erik is a graduate of Occidental College and the British American Drama Academy.
