Description

On Saturday June 17th in conjunction with the Library of Congress' annual Mostly Lost event, the Packard Campus will be screening an evening of silent films. Tickets are free but due to the large number of Mostly Lost attendees it is suggested to obtain a ticket via this Eventbrite page to ensure there will be a seat for you. This is NOT a ticket to the Mostly Lost workshop, only a ticket for the free evening screening. To register for Mostly Lost 6 visit https://mostlylostsix.eventbrite.com.


The silent film program will begin at 7:30 p.m. with screenings of “Fox Film Corporation's 23rd Annual Convention, Hollywood, CA” (1926) and “Rogues and Romance” (1920) accompanied by Ben Model at the Packard Campus. The event is free and open to the public.

ROGUES AND ROMANCE (1920)

A lighthearted story of a young American woman and her father while vacationing in Spain. She falls in love with a Spanish rebel whose gang has plans to kidnap the governor. When her American fiancé arrives for a visit she is torn between the two men. Filmed in Europe and starring Harry Semels, June Caprice, Marguerite Courtot and George B. Seitz who also directed.
