Dr. Roey Tzezana has a PhD in Nanotechnology from the Technion, and is a Futures researcher in Yuval Ne’eman Workshop for Science, Technology & Security at Tel Aviv University. He’s the chief scientist at Tela Labs – labs for public and social innovation and entrepreneurship. His research deals mainly with analysis of emerging and disruptive technologies and forecasting their impact on the society and the individual.
Dr. Tzezana is a fascinating speaker and is invited to speak in the most important forums and conventions around the world.
In his lecture he will talk about the three technological revolutions and the ways they open for every creative and talented individual to re-invent him- or herself and recreate the world in their image. The revolutions we’ll talk about are –
- The Individual and Personal Manufacturing Revolution, powered by 3D printers;
- The Intelligence Revolution, based on the growing ability of computers to emulate certain cognitive functions previously reserved to humans only.
- The Natural Revolution, in which mankind will gain control over his genetics and ‘programming code’.
We’ll examine the future these revolutions hold for us, where they’re taking us and how they are manifested in society in the present.
