Rod Harris Jr. hails from Atlanta, Ga. As a jazz guitarist, Rod has performed in many prestigious festivals and venues throughout the U.S. Rod's most recent jazz music release, "Exits & Options" (2018), showcases an eclectic blend of traditional jazz, hip hop, and soul music. Jazz Corner.com calls the EP "classy and forward-thinking...and bridges the gap between the musical genres." As a professional guitarist, Rod has performed with countless national and international artists crossing musical genres from jazz, gospel, hip-hop, and soul. In 2018, RHJ was nominated for a Grammy Award (R&B Soul) for his musical contributions to neo-soul legend Musiq Soulchild's Album "Feel The Real." Rod can also be seen in blockbuster music biopic films such as "Cadillac Records" starring Beyonce and Adrian Brody; "Bessie" starring Queen Latifah; "American Soul"; and most recently "Genius: Aretha Franklin" starring Cynthia Erivo.
