RMAIR in the Land of Enchantment

The 2018 RMAIR Annual Conference will be held on October 24-26 in Albuquerque, New Mexico. We are very pleased to collaborate with our state education and corporate partners to sponsor this event and hope that you will join us.

Call for Proposals

Proposals are now being accepted for the 2018 RMAIR Conference to be held in Albuquerque, NM. The deadline to submit a proposal is August 10, 2018. We will notify you by August 31 if your proposal is accepted. Please submit your proposals to:  RMAIR Proposal Submissions

Hotel Reservations
Rooms will be available at Hotel Andaluz in Downtown Albuquerque (https://hotelandaluz.com).  The conference rate is $149 per night, with free wireless internet.  There are 107 rooms at the hotel and an overflow hotel across the street, if needed.

Hotel Andaluz is centrally located in Albuquerque, within a 10-minute drive of New Mexico Museum of Natural History and Science and ABQ BioPark Zoo. A credit card is required to guarantee all reservations to hold each individual’s reservation.  The credit card shall serve to confirm the reservation for the date(s) indicated and, upon check-in, the physical card will be required for payment.  A reservation must be canceleed at least 24 hours prior to arrival and cancellation number is obtained.  If a reservation is cancelled less than 24 hours prior to arrival, one night;s room tax will be charged to the credit card.

If you plan to extend your trip, room reservations can be made for you to arrive three days prior and three days after and still receive the same great rate (depending on availability).

Reservation deadline - Sunday, Friday, October 5, 2018. Reservations made after the deadline will only be provided on a space available basis at prevailing rates.

Thursday Night Event  - $30

 Join us for dinner at Central New Mexico Community College where the Bistro class will prepare and serve a 3-5 course meal (most likely beef).  Hors d’oeuvres at 5:30pm and dinner served at 6:00pm.  Transportation to and from dinner will be provided.  There will also be some beer and wine pairings

Rocky Mountain Association for Institutional Research


Established in 1971, the Rocky Mountain Association for Institutional Research (RMAIR) includes higher education research professionals from Arizona, Colorado, Idaho, Montana, Nevada, New Mexico, Texas, Utah, Wyoming, and Canadian provinces, Alberta and Saskatchewan.

RMAIR strives to create a friendly spirit of unity and cooperation among members. Members benefit and assist each other by:

• Advancing institutional research knowledge and expertise leading to the improved understanding, planning, and operation of institutions of higher education.

• Providing avenues for renewal and professional development by offering annual meetings during which research findings and methods can be exchanged through paper presentations, workshops, and seminars.

• Promoting activities with the Association for Institutional Research (AIR).
