Event description

Description

Party while doing good deeds? It doesn't get any better than that!

A benefit for Looking & Feeling FAB, Inc. a nonprofit that provides free massage and healthy skin care for people with cancer. Light snacks and cash bar.

"The Regressions" Sample soul man

Featuring live music of the 60's and 70's, The Regressions are a large sound machine, numbering up to 15 on stage at once, including a triple horn section, vintage Hammond, and up to a half-dozen singers — in addition to guitars, bass, drums, percussion and keys.

During its 20 years, the band has focused on providing music for fundraising and charitable events, such as Boston’s Walk for Hunger, playing for hospitalized veterans in Brockton, and events for Rett’s Syndrome research, cleft-palate surgery in Colombia, and a community orchestra devoted to advancement of mental health.

The Regressions equation is a simple one: Music + Service = Healing, Love, and an enduring sense of family and community. All powered by the irresistible sounds of some of the most treasured and iconic dance music of Motown, classic R&B, and old-time Rock ‘n’ Roll.

Looking & Feeling FAB, Inc.

The first non-profit of its kind in the country, with aestheticians and massage therapists providing relief for those with cancer through integrative therapies -- alleviating side effects and improving quality of life.

Through their specialized training, these practitioners understand the effects of cancer on the body and how best to safely accommodate clients while working alongside oncology and other medical teams.

The Licensed Aestheticians (Oncology Trained) use safe, chemical-free products to combat skin side effects such as radiation burns, rashes, itchiness, redness, and severe dryness that develop from chemotherapy, radiation, surgery or noncancerous medications.

The Licensed Massage Therapists (Oncology Trained) offer a safe way to decrease the burden of cancer-treatment side effects. In addition, they bring an uplifting service to people at a time when joy is often overlooked.
