Nicole Stecker (www.rockyourbirth.net) lives in SW Minneapolis with her husband, beautiful daughter, Evelyn and handsome sons, Frank & Knox. After an unfulfilling corporate career , she decided to follow her passion of all things birth. She is now a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator, Lactation Counselor, Hypno-doula, yoga instructor and nursing student on the long journey to Nurse Midwifery.
Liz Hochman (www.minneapolisdoula.com) is a local Hopkins resident and has brought both of her newborn baby girls (now 9 and 6) home to her Hopkins residence. After several years in Market Research, Liz got bit by the birth bug and followed her passion to support women through this most transformational time in their lives. As a Certified Lactation Counselor and Lamaze Certified Childbirth Instructor she brings with her the evidence and information that modern mamas need on their journey through motherhood.

Liz Hochman CD(DONA), CLC, LCCE
Liz Hochman has been passionate about women's health, birth, breastfeeding, and all things motherhood for as long as she can remember. In 2009, she decided to pursue a career in supporting birth by becoming a Certified Birth Doula. Over 100 births later, she knew that becoming a Childbirth Educator was her true calling in life and she set out to becoming a Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator.
From the moment Liz taught her first class in 2012 she was hooked. Her ability to reach students through humor and dynamic teaching style is what continues to fill her classes. She has the pleasure of teaching over 1,000 couples in 4+ years of empowering childbirth education classes and has received the nomination for Best of the Twin Cities Birth two times.
Liz continues to maintain her certifications as a Birth Doula with DONA, Lamaze Certified Childbirth Educator, and Lactation Counselor through Healthy Children's Center for Breastfeeding. Check out her website at www.minneapolisdoula.com
