Rock For Charity II

For many of us, the memories of our college days reverberate around listening to classic rock in the dorm or going to music fests. As the world needs a lot of healing these days, we plan to leverage our love for classic rock to help humanity.
The 1985 Live Aid concert was conceived as a follow-on to the successful charity single “Do They Know It’s Christmas?” which was also the brainchild of Geldof and Ure. Rock for Charity II is the continuation of the initiative of Prometheus Foundation and IIT Alumni of Greater Houston (IITAGH) to enjoy a fantastic evening of classic rock while raising funds for charity with focus on children and education.
This year’s Rock for Charity II concert on April 23rd at the Cullen Theater at Wortham Center will be headlined by a motley crew of musicians:

Dr. Subrata Ghosh of Houston’s Horizon Fusion Band, his bandmate Rajesh Bose , an engineer and erstwhile guitarist of Chandrabindoo, the numero uno band of Eastern India, and the rising rockstar Ritwik Bhattacharya of the Bangalore-based Happy Rock band, Aathma, burning up the rock scene in India, Mukul Singhee , ex-IITian, versatile musician and winner of numerous college fest awards, and last but not the least, Jeff Stocki , the killer bassist from good ole Texas.
All proceeds will be contributed to two excellent charities, doing super work in the area of children and education:
