Event description
Come Rock 4 Recovery with Edwin McCain this September for the LRADAC Foundation’s annual fundraising concert presented by Dominion Energy.

About this event

With a recording legacy that includes two of the biggest love songs in the history of pop music, Edwin McCain is going to Rock 4 Recovery this September when he returns to the Midlands for the LRADAC Foundation’s 7th annual fundraising event presented by Dominion Energy. All proceeds from this alcohol-free concert will help raise awareness about the power and healing of recovery from substance misuse and help support persons in financial distress so they can fully participate in recovery services for themselves and their families.

Called the “great American romantic” by the New York Times, Edwin McCain has built a storied career over the past 20 years by balancing his massive pop success with a year-round touring schedule. Originally scheduled for last year’s Rock 4 Recovery that was canceled due to the COVID-19 pandemic, McCain graciously rescheduled his performance for 2021. Opening for McCain will be one of his frequent collaborators, singer-songwriter Maia Sharp. In addition to performing her original music, Nashville-based Sharp has produced work for McCain and has also had her songs recorded by such top acts as Bonnie Raitt, Trisha Yearwood and Cher.

Rock 4 Recovery will take place Friday, September 24, 2021, from 6 to 10 p.m. at the Icehouse Amphitheater, located at 107 W Main St, Lexington, SC 29072. Tickets are $25 and will be available for sale June 7th at rock4recovery21.eventbrite.com.
