Event Details

Each year, the Rochester Section of the American Chemical Society recognizes the accomplishments of our local section members.  Join us for a dinner and lecture at Nazareth College, Medaille Formal Lounge, Medaille Hall (use parking lot A), 4245 East Avenue, Rochester, NY 14618 as we congratulate our 50, 60 and 70 year members, and our award winners. Keynote address:

Edward White – Associate Vice President for TAP Facility (Test, Assembly, and Packaging) 

AIM Photonics – Progress to Date

Abstract: The presentation will refresh understanding of the American Institute for Manufacturing Integrated Photonics’ (AIM Photonics’) Goals and Objectives and will provide an overview of the progress made to date. The progress overview will address the key components of AIM’s Eco-System and also address how customers are utilizing or planning to utilize the Integrated Photonic capability being developed in AIM Photonics. 

Bio: Ed is responsible for the AIM Photonics’ Test, Assembly and Packaging business located here in Rochester. Ed White is also an AIM Photonics Corporate Outreach Executive. He is a native of New York State, and began his career at Kodak after earning a Bachelor of Science in Mechanical Engineering from the University of Rochester. He later went on to earn an Executive MBA also from the University of Rochester. At Kodak, Ed held several executive positions with global responsibility including General Manager Optical Products & Vice President Commercial Imaging Group, Director WW Equipment Manufacturing & Vice President Global Manufacturing and Logistics, Director Ink Jet Manufacturing & Vice President Consumer Digital Group. After leaving Kodak in 2009, Ed led JML Optical Company as President and CEO in an interim capacity and in 2010 he founded Edward White Consulting, LLC. Ed joined AIM Photonics in 2016
