Event Description | This session will explore the integration of advanced robotics into the secondary classroom, specifically using the Megamark robot from the local educational technology company, Choitek. Participants will learn how the Megamark robot can be programmed using Arduino, Python, Unity, and RobotC programming languages.

Background | Choitek is a robotics startup founded by John Choi, a Computer Science and Arts student from Carnegie Mellon University. Founded 2016 in Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, USA, our mission is to teach and inspire with advanced educational robotics technologies for everyone.

The Megamark Robot is a super-sized robot is an educational robot that has been designed to teach and inspire.

Who Should Attend? | Although open to all, a background knowledge of computer programming will be helpful.

Please note: Starting February 2018, Megamark robots will be available to borrow via AIU’s STEAM Lending Library.
