Event description

Description

Experience the amazing world of robots!

Staff from the Museum of Flight are leading two free “Robot Garage” workshops in our classroom. These 2 hour workshops start at 11 am and 2 pm. Participants must be 4th grade and older, no experience necessary. Space is limited in our classroom, so registration is needed to secure a spot.

Participants will learn about the history of robotics and discuss cutting edge robots in space. Then, get hands-on building a robot for a fun compeition.

OPTIONS FOR ADULTS

  1. You are more than welcome to register for a seat at a table and actively participate in the workshop and build a robot.
  2. Or you can register for a standing spot to just observe.
  3. Or you can be out in the exhibit gallery (playing with a younger sibling for instance).

You will see the participant and oberserver ticket types below. We have limited numbers for both options. Due to the popularity of these events, please commit to attending the workshop once you register. Last minute cancellations and no shows are very difficult.

Robotics for Kids Day at the WET Science Center runs from 11 am 4 pm. Throughout the day, local robotics students lead hands-on activities for all-ages. No registration is required for participation in those activities.
