ROBO101 : Introduction to Robotics
The aim of this class is to provide a foundation in robotics / automata on which attendees can build additional knowledge, skills, and ability. The class includes a short multimedia presentation, guided instruction, paper-‐craft, polarized electronics assembly, scripting, and play.
Instruction / depth of topic(s) is driven, within reason, by student interest.
Attendees are able to cut, fold, and glue paper, are familiar with and capable of installing / running computer software, posses a general knowledge of electronics (e.g. power, ground), and may have some experience in programming.
A laptop or desktop computer with an available USB port is needed for each registrant; Windows, Mac OS, or Linux.

When & Where
NYC Resistor is a hacker collective with a shared space located in Boerum Hill, Brooklyn. We meet regularly to share knowledge, hack on projects together, and build community. Our interests range from laser-cutting to knitting, and programming to pop-up books.
