Event description
Congratulations on getting your own place at the Robin Hood Half Marathon!

About this event

Please only register to run for Maggie’s if you have your own place in the Robin Hood Half marathon.

By choosing to run for Maggie's with your own place you won't have a fundraising target, but anything you do raise would be amazing and help us to continue to provide free cancer support.

Join Team Maggie's by completing this form and we will provide you with all the support you will need to cross the finishing line including:

A Maggie's running vest

A fundraising pack

Training and support guides

Plenty of support to get you across the finish line

A huge cheer on the day from one of our cheer points

How your fundraising will help

£140 could support our exercise classes to help build and maintain strength and confidence whilst living with Cancer.

£50 could mean someone just diagnosed with cancer can receive immediate advice and support from a Cancer Support Specialist.

£40 could help someone diagnosed with cancer focus on their treatment and less on the struggle of supporting their family with our expert benefits advisors.

If you have any questions please call us on 01159246211 or nottinghamfundraising@maggiescentres.org.

Organiser Maggie's

Organiser of Robin Hood Half Marathon for Maggie's 2021 - Own place registration form

Maggie’s provides free practical, emotional and social support to people with cancer and their family and friends, following the ideas about cancer care originally laid out by Maggie Keswick Jencks.

Built in the grounds of NHS cancer hospitals, Maggie's centres are places with professional staff on hand to offer the support people need.

Our centres are places to find practical advice about benefits and eating well; places where qualified experts provide emotional support; places to meet other people; places where you can simply sit quietly with a cup of tea.

The first Maggie’s opened in Edinburgh in 1996 and since then Maggie’s has continued to grow, with 26 centres at major NHS cancer hospitals in the UK and abroad.
