Event description

Description

Chef John Folse’s White Oak Plantation & Farm will host a Robert Burns Scotch Supper to honor the life of Scotland’s best-loved bard, Robert Burns, on January 31st beginning at 6 p.m.

A five-course menu featuring Scottish fare will be served with Macallan Scotch Whisky paired with each course. (Gratuity is not included in the ticket price. Guests may determine gratuity at their discretion. Cash only please.)

Robert Burns is regarded as a pioneer of the Romantic Movement with his poems such as Ode to a Haggis, Auld Lang Syne and A Red, Red Rose. Born into a family of tenant farmers, he began writing poetry at a young age to break up the demanding work of a farmer. Burns Night Suppers have honored the poet for more than 200 years in Scotland and around the world.
