Event description

Description

Substance Use Disorders in At-Risk Populations: Vulnerabilities that Can Contribute to Use and Approaches to Treatment

Many factors can implicate the development of substance use disorders, and consequently, their treatment. This conference will focus on the vulnerabilities that can contribute to substance use such as psychiatric disorders, trauma, and adolescence, and explore these challenges on a deeper level. Attendees will get a closer look into the unique risk factors of these vulnerabilities, common drugs of abuse, and promising treatment approaches.

Attendees seeking continuing education credits may select their CEU type (e.g., social work, counseling, nursing) when registering for the event. If you have any questions about CEUs, please feel free to contact Nathan Sepeda at nsepeda1@jhmi.edu or 410-550-1081.
