This Saturdays ride will be an extremely scenic & challenging ride, starting in Cisco Grove, following the raging river, climbing to the vista point overlooking Donner Lake & descending down into Truckee.
The ride is approx 40 mile with an elevation gain at just over 4000 ft. You will need to be experienced enough to climb steep hills & be comfortable descending at 35-40 mph down mountainous turns. We will stop for lunch in Truckee at Wild Cherries coffee house for a bite & then head back riding around the other side of Donner lake back to the top of the summit. The weather predicted is mid 70s with the river at peak levels.
