Riverside City College Pathways to Law Open House, Hosted by the RCC Law Society & Pathways to Law School

  • Are you interested in a career in law? Are you a studying or majoring in Paralegal Studies, Political Science, English, Psychology, Administration of Justice, Sociology, Business, Math, Science or Philosophy? Do you have a desire to work with attorneys or even become one? How about a desire to work in governement, politics, social justice, or the courts? Looking for innovative ways and insight on how to achieve or pursue a degree in law? Want to work in the area of immigration law, criminal law, entertainment law, family law, civil law, or the legal department of a business or law firm…how about a courthouse? Have a desire and passion for justice for the underprivileged? Able to multi-task? If so, this is the event for you. Join us and attend this open house to learn more about the Pathways to Law, including Paralegal Studies and/or the RCC Pathway to Law School Program.

  • Information and applications will be available for RCC’s Pathway to Law School Program. RCC’s Pathway schools include the respective undergraduate and law school institutions of UC Davis, UC Irvine, USC, Loyola Law School, University of San Francisco and Santa Clara University.

  • Interested in Internship Opportunities? How about the District Attorney’s Office, Superior Courts of California, County of Riverside, Superior Courts of California, County of San Bernardino, or the Resource Center? Attend and network with RCC Pathways to Law School Faculty Champions, students and legal professionals.

What time should I arrive to the event?

Please arrive on time, and early if possible. You will need to check in first to obtain information, a SWAG bag, and/or swag itmes; as well as a ticket for entry door prizes. You'll also want to arrive on time or early so that you can secure a good seat. There are no assigned seats, and seating is on a first-come, first-served basis, unless you have identified, your need for access of reasonable accommodations:

Now! There is limited seating. If additional tickets/seats are not released, you will be able to get on the waitlist. Once a spot becomes available, you will be notified.

What should I bring into the event?

Please bring something to write with and take notes on. There will be valuable information you'll want to take with you!

Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?

Yes, please. This will ease your registration check-in and your ticket will be needed to obtain your lunch ticket, swag bag and/or items, and ticket for door prizes!

Can I update my registration information?

Yes. And if for some reason you need to add to or cancel your attendance, please do so within 48 hours for proper lunch preparation.

Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?

Your ticket is FREE. However, if you need to transfer your ticket, please update with the actual attendee's name for registration and administration.

Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?

Please update your registration with actual attendee information. If registration has closed, you may provide your ticket to another attendee. We'd love for you to send a friend.
