About this event
We’re excited to partner with the St. Johns Riverkeeper this fall as we explore the topic of RIVERS through the lens of art and writing and community.
And we are pleased to announce that Riverkeeper Lisa Rinaman will be our featured speaker for this mostly outdoors Preview Party and Fundraiser, along with featured RIVERS artist, Tatiana Kitchen. Both women will speak on their relationship with rivers and the River City—and share the lessons they’ve learned along the way.
Enjoy champagne and light appetizers as well as a private tour of the RIVERS Exhibition. Be the first to see the RIVERS Exhibition and the art for sale. Pick up a beautiful RIVERS art journal or two, along with a copy of the latest edition of our anthology, aptly named (a) river rising. You’ll also learn about our other planned programs this fall, including outings, classes, and community initiatives.
Join us as we explore this theme of RIVERS from the intersection of women, and words, and art, and leadership. Your ticket and any items you purchase will help women writers and artists directly, enabling us to fund future art exhibitions like this one, as well as our scholarship and accessibility programs for women writers, our college and high school interns, and diverse members of this community.
Please note: Masks will need to be worn inside. Please observe social distancing outside. If you are not vaccinated, we ask that you do not attend to preserve your own safety. We will offer several online programs this fall that you can safely attend instead. Limited to approximately 25 people on site, and no more than 5 at a time inside.
