The sixth-annual River Run on the Fourth will be held Monday, July 4, 2016, in conjunction with the Wenatchee Independence Day Celebration. The 5K and 10K will start and finish at Pybus Public Market, which opened in 2013 and is the second-largest public market in Washington state.
The 5K and 10K courses are traffic-free and ideal for both runners and walkers. The courses utilize the community's Apple Capital Loop Trail, which follows along the banks of the Columbia River. Participants will enjoy numerous views of the Columbia River, the Cascade Mountains and the Wenatchee Foothills.
Each participant receives a commemorative shirt, a finisher's medal, chip-timing, and refreshments.
