About this event
This is an intentional slow flow vinyasa style yoga class. Beginner friendly/Intermediate yoga sequence with variations to support all bodies throughout the practice. In this 45min class you will focus on finding alignment, balance, mobility, stability and strength. Our goal is to release stress and tension, challenge our physical limitations and feel good inside and out.
Slow Flow Yoga will take place on Wednesdays from September 28th -November 2nd
Registration for Slow Flow Yoga is only available through Eventbrite. Please cancel if you are no longer able to attend. By registering for River Fit: Slow Flow Yoga you automatically sign the electronic waiver to participate in this River Fit Fitness Series class.
Directions to Fiedler Field:
Cross the Fiedler Footbridge and continue walking straight past the Esplanade Playspace. There will be a footbridge across from the Playspace. Continue across that footbridge, Fiedler Field will be across from a dock next to a statue of head.

About Yoga with Malaika
Malaika is a 500RYT yoga instructor based in Cambridge MA. She has been teaching yoga in and around the Boston area since 2015 offering her Slow Flow accessible yoga. Her goal is to offer her students an accessible yoga practice with variations that support and honor where they are both mentally and physically each time they come to yoga.
About the Esplanade Association (EA):
The Esplanade Association (Esplanade.org) is a nonprofit organization that works to revitalize and enhance the Charles River Esplanade, sustain its natural green space, and build community in the park by providing educational, cultural, and recreational programs for everyone.
RIVER FIT COVID-19 HEALTH AND SAFETY REQUIREMENTS AND GUIDELINES
- Participants are required to pre-register in advance; only pre-registered attendees can participate.
- Vaccinated participants can go mask-free! We strongly encourage non-vaccinated participants to wear a mask or face covering.
- The Esplanade Association will have hand sanitizer available on-site.
- Stay home if you feel sick and/or are part of a vulnerable population.
