Risky Business: Navigating Risk in Architecture Presentation

NZACS together with Emerge are delighted to host two presentations by 2024 NZACS Scholarship recipient Mikayla Exton on “Risky Business”, in Christchurch and Auckland this November.

Mikayla will be sharing her learnings from her recent study trip to the UK where she attended a course on Integrating Risk into Strategic Decision-Making at the University of Cambridge. This event will cover topics such as making sense of complexity, scenario planning, and biases in thinking. Whether you are at the beginning of your architectural career or an experienced practitioner, this is a great introduction to evaluating risk in architectural practice.

Doors will open at 5:30pm for drinks and nibbles with the presentation beginning at 6:00pm, followed by a Q&A at 6:40pm and further drinks and nibbles to finish the night.

All members of NZACS, Emerge, and NZIA are welcome.
