Event description


Are you and/or your operation familiar with what you must be aware of when it comes to basic health and safety issues, as they pertain to custodial maintenance. Do you know how the issues have an effect on you as a frontline technician or on the general public who utilize the facility you maintain?

In this session you will find information for the Risk Management Team about;

  • Mixing chemicals and dilution systems

  • Personal Protective Equipment

  • Environmental Infection Prevention

  • Slip and Fall Prevention

  • Equipment Safety

  • Janitorial/Supply Closet Etiquette

We will also cover Risk Management issues such as;

  • Dust/Grit Removal

  • Wet Soil Removal

  • Burnishing

  • Top Scrubbing

  • Top Stripping

  • Finish Application

as these apply to floor surfaces, which make up 80% of what custodial services take care of on a daily basis.
