About our organization

Community Action Coalition for South Central Wisconsin has been serving Dane, Jefferson and Waukesha County for more than 50 years, working toward a just and equitable community for every person. We work to transform systems so that all people can achieve social and economic security.

To achieve this goal, CAC provides a comprehensive array of programs and services to help individuals address immediate needs while building resiliency to achieve long-term success. CAC believes that food and housing insecurity are public health crises, and that everyone deserves a place to call home and food on the table.

Our Mission

We seek to transform our communities by fostering conditions where everyone can achieve social and economic security.

Our Vision

We envision a just and equitable community for every person.
