There has been a lot of people discussing how they do not feel safe in their daily life, going to certain places in the towns they live, traveling to new locations that are unfamiliar, and just general sense of not being safe in society around us. For this reason, we are launching the first ever Rise UP Proactive Safety Movement! This is a movement we are starting to empower people to take their safety into their own hands, and to take a stand against all the bad in this world. Together, we can create a world that is safer for all! Come enjoy art, engage in some crafts, and much more! This will be a fun event for ALL in the community to come join in, and learn how a safer YOU today, creates a safer ALL tomorrow.
There will be snacks and refreshments provided by our amazing sponsors. There will also be other snacks and refreshments, for cash, provided by Carnahan Hall.
This event is for anyone and everyone. It is all inclusive. Please join and spread the word!
Are there ID or minimum age requirements to enter the event?
Nope! Any one at any age can attend. We encourage people to bring their kids too!
What are my transportation/parking options for getting to and from the event?
Carnahan Hall is at 800 Main St. There is quite a bit of construction currently, so parking can be a bit tricky. There is a lot of street parking around the downtown square. People can drop others off at the door and find parking spaces after, should they choose.
What can I bring into the event?
We encourage you to bring cameras, phones, and paper (if you'd like to write anything down!). Otherwise just bring yourself!! Definitely bring your phone and take a lot of pictures. And TAG US!
How can I contact the organizer with any questions?
You are welcome to email us at firstname.lastname@example.org or email@example.com.
Do I have to bring my printed ticket to the event?
Nope. We only have "tickets" so that we can get an estimated count on how many will come. This is mostly for us to know how many snacks to have!
Can I update my registration information?
Sure! I don't see why not! :)
Is my registration fee or ticket transferrable?
The ticket is free. So definitely!
Is it ok if the name on my ticket or registration doesn't match the person who attends?
Yup! Absolutely. We just want an estimated head count before the event day.
