Rise & Shine Volunteer Days on the Farm are every Tuesday from 8-10am.

No experience necessary but desire to learn more about sustainable farming, gardening, and build community is a must!

All ages are welcome although anyone under the age of 18 must be supervised by a parent or guardian at all times.

What to wear:

• Close toed shoes
• Long pants or shorts to the knee
• Clothes you don't mind getting dirty.

What to bring:

• Sunscreen
• A sun hat
• Refillable water bottle

Directions for getting to the Farm:

Heading North from San Diego

• Take Exit 42 – Encinitas Blvd exit
• Turn right onto Encinitas Blvd and make a quick left on Saxony Road.
• Drive about 3/4 of a mile and you will see a sign on your right that says Coastal Roots Farm.
• Turn right into the farm and enter through the front gate.
• You'll see a welcome shed and the farm on your left; park in the spots to your right (south of the welcome shed, and east of the porta-johns).

Heading South from LA

1. Take Exit 43 – Leucadia Blvd exit
2. Turn left onto Leucadia Blvd and go about 1/2 mile to Saxony Road.
3. Turn right onto Saxony Road and drive another 1/2 mile until you see the farm and a sign on your left.
4. Turn left and enter through the front gate.
5. You'll see a welcome shed and the farm on your left; park in the spots to your right (south of the welcome shed, and east of the porta-johns).
