Get ready for bodyslams, Broadway, and bedlam when professional wrestling meets improv comedy—with a side of rock ’n’ roll. Our eclectic lineup of wrestlers brings you freaks and geeks of all sorts, including an old-time carnival strongman, a Broadway diva delivering show tunes and suplexes, a lumberjack from the Great White North, a punch-out pinup girl, a tag team of gamer nerds, an ancient Egyptian zombie, and … a certified public accountant. They’ll be joined by special guests from BLOWW, Boston’s radically inclusive wrestling troupe who are rewriting the rules of the ring.
We’ll amp things up even more with a wild, flamboyant, electrifying set by local rockers The Smoke Breaks.
All profits from this show will support the Rhode Island Stage Ensemble (RISE), a non-profit community theater based in Woonsocket. With a mission of promoting theater in Rhode Island for educational and artistic purposes, RISE is a fixture of the community and a vital part of the local arts scene.
