Rise of the Independents: Supporting the new workforce
Event Information
Description
The role of work in our lives is changing forever. Between traditional employment and traditional entrepreneurship hide increasingly popular ways of working that have to date flown under the radar.
They've been called independents, contingent workers, freelanceers, free agents, solopreneurs, the creative class, and more. Regardless of what you call them, they have one core thing in common: the freedom to choose how, when, where, and why they work.
Within this growing group lie answers to some of society's biggest challenges, but this new workforce is only now starting to come into its own. Join a group of people who are leading the way in supporting the needs of independent workers for a discussion on what is being done now and where things are going.
