Catherine has spoken at several national conferences including Heartbeat International and CareNet Conferences, and international conferences including three universities in Ukraine in 2004, a university and three secondary schools in Lagos, Nigeria in 2013 and the Philippines in January of 2014. In 2007, Catherine founded and continues to serve on the board of Pregnancy Resources of Delaware County, Delaware, Ohio.

Catherine authored curricula, including Building Smart Relationships © 2015 Constructing Safe Relationships, Dating Violence © 2013, 2017 which has served over 25,000 students, and Relationships Under Construction © 2004 which has served over 379,870 students in Ohio since 2002.

In 2006, RUC was chosen by the National Abstinence Clearinghouse as the #1 curriculum most likely to impact students. In the areas where the RUC curriculum has been most implemented, the teen birth rates, teen abortion rates and STD rates have decreased significantly.

Catherine was named Watch Dog of the year in 2007 by the National Abstinence Clearinghouse for her work with the legislature. QAARDAN awarded Catherine for her “contribution towards education in Nigeria in 2009.” In 2010, Catherine received the “World Changer” Award from Genoa Baptist Church at their God Bless America Rally. In 2014, Catherine received an award for relationship education in the Philippines from Heartbeat of Asia and the “Woman of Impact” Award from WRFD Radio Women in Ministry.

Josh McDowell says of RUC – “Relationships Under Construction is the best sex education curriculum I have reviewed in years! It starts early and includes parents."

ERICA WALSH - Erica graduated with a Master’s Degree in elementary education from The Ohio State University. Since then she has taught a wide array of subjects and age groups ranging from private preschool to middle school archery. For the past 4 years, she has been teaching healthy relationship skills and risk avoidance in multiple counties across Ohio to middle and high school students. Her passions include spending time with family and learning. She enjoys hiking with her children and dating her husband, the love of her life.

Her favorite Bible verse is Zephaniah 3:17 “The Lord your God is with you, the Mighty Warrior who saves. He will take great delight in you; in his love He will no longer rebuke you, but will rejoice over you with singing.”

RACHEL BLEVINS - Rachel grew up as a pastor’s kid and lived in Ohio, Kentucky and the Cayman Islands. She attended college in Missouri where she met Joe, who became her husband and later, her pastor. Together they taught, counseled and mentored believers in churches in Missouri and Ohio for almost forty-one years.

She also worked as Bereavement Coordinator at a local hospice where she facilitated grief support groups, trained volunteers, gave educational talks to organizations, church groups and college students. This time of ministry taught her the importance of living life to its fullest measure.

Becoming a widow in 2009 challenged her to find a new identity, especially in the context of ministry. She wrestled with the question: What can a widow offer the Body of Christ? The Lord gently reminded her she could offer her wisdom and knowledge of grief and loss, share the importance of missions in the Kingdom of God, facilitate groups of diverse backgrounds and beliefs, teach others to be mentors and offer hope to discouraged souls. She realized her experience as caregiver of terminally ill loved ones and a special needs child will encourage weary ones. Her enthusiasm to communicate the faithfulness of God in every situation will inspire people to keep the faith.

She is a published photographer and writer. Read her blog at www.101stretchmarks.com Stretchmarks: reflections and observations of the stretching effects of daily life…and the stretch marks that may result.

ABBY GRUBER - Abby is a Health & Wellness Coach and the Founder of En Route Wellness, LLC, a business supporting Christian women who want to move from stressed and overwhelmed to living a powerful, healthy, vibrant life they love. She has a B.S. in Marketing and is an IAWP Certified Wellness Coach.

She is the creator of her signature self-care course titled “The Care-Full Life: 4 Steps to Reclaim Your God-Given Power, Practice Self-Care Without Guilt, and Design a Healthy Life You Love”. Abby created En Route Wellness, LLC to start a movement among Christian women who are ready to leave stress, overwhelm, fear, and unhealthy habits behind and move forward on their individual journey to wellness while receiving the support they need.

She has taught biblical purity through a Whole Person Based, Sexual Risk Avoidance program to more than 16,000 students. She’s worn many titles over the years, daughter, wife, mother, friend but her favorite is Child of God.
