Matthew Curry IL recently opened his new creative studio “Boy vs Dragon” in Georgetown. He provides consultancy across all design disciplines including music packaging, logo design, print design, broadcast design, illustration, animation, audio and interactive media. He has award-winning artwork profiled by Apple, earned grammy-nominations and was an artist talk feature of VICE. His artwork and design has been commissioned by Fortune 500 companies, and hangs in galleries and private collections all over the world. Check out some of his work in advance.

Chase DeForest MFA 04 FD will take us on a tour of her studio at Pyramid Atlantic in Hyattesville, MD. Much of her creative background has been in commissioned-based work for private clients, first though custom furniture, then through bespoke cowboy boots. Because of DeForest’s contact with leather, she began working on two dimensional images, seeing it as a malleable, forgiving, versatile medium, ripe with potential. The potency of the relationship of this bovine to the American economy, diet and landscape has shown no shortage of areas to explore. Being from the West, these areas are of personal interest; DeForest is compelled by their broader significance as well. Check out some of her work in advance.
