Description

Not a few share the opinion that Nigeria is at the crossroads. This feeling informs the sustained efforts geared at conversations on how to fix the ailing ‘giant of Africa.’

Ripples Nigeria Dialogue is a special forum designed to broaden conversation on the troubled Nigerian project.

The event is designed as an annual offering by Ripples Centre for Data and Investigative Journalism (RCDIJ), a non-profit organization and partners to Ripples Nigeria, an award-winning digital multi-media news platform.

Professor Wole Soyinka will be the Keynote Speaker at the maiden edition billed for Thursday, March 15, 2018 at The Wheatbaker, Ikoyi, Lagos. The theme is, ‘Rebuilding trust in a divided Nigeria’.

A distinguished panel comprising Dr Pat Utomi (Celebrated economist and management expert), Mr Peter Obi (Former Governor of Anambra State), and Dr Abiola Akiyode-Afolabi( Human rights activist and university don) will complement the conversation on a new Nigeria which promises to be exciting. The event will be moderated by Dr. Reuben Abati (accomplished scholar, journalist and media practitioner).

Ripples Nigeria Dialogue is for all stakeholders in the Nigerian project, especially civil society organizations, the military, political scholars, politicians, the media, members of the academia and corporate Nigeria who may want a prosperous and stable country.
