NAPW Forest Hills Chapter is hosting a Fashion Show Event to benefit S.H.A.D. Inc., (www.shadonline.org) a US based Non Profit organization. S.H.A.D. caters to the health needs of poor women aged 14-45, infected with HIV/AIDS, living in deplorable conditions in North West of Haiti. (***Details at the bottom of this page).

Get ready to be dazzled by three top designers from NY & TX. These talented, vivacious and multifaceted designers will walk the ramp with amazingly beautiful models, displaying the latest trends and designs in womens' wear.
- 'Ripping the Runway' by NY Desginer Alvertis Alve', the dynamo behind Alve' Couture. Alve' is a high fashion designer, model, actress, playwright, director, producer, author, published poet (wrote poetry for recording artist, LL Cool J) and a columnist “Miss Gotta Say it” for SGIB Magazine & I-Fashion Magazine.
- 'Stylist Closet', by Alice B.
a native of Houston, Texas Stylist, has styled many artists and political figures in Houston. She is always willing to lend a helping hand in enhancing ones style and beauty. She says her skills speak for themselves and when you look good you feel even better.

(***NAPW Forest Hills has partnered with S.H.A.D for building a clinic in NW Haiti for addressing the health needs of HIV infected young women. S.H.A.D. plans to use the clinic for providing health education, treatment and nutrition to these women, who never had access to such health related programs before. Our primary goal is to provide the HIV infected Haitian women with necessary health education, much needed treatment and utmost care, in order for them to function with a certain degree of normalcy in their community.Your support will enable us to move a few steps closer to our goal.
