Celebrating Equality Through Music!

Riot Girl Festival aims to unite the voices of female identifying musicians. To awaken the responsibility we all share to destroy societal constructs motivated by oppression. And to rectify norms that reinforce inequality for any group based upon traits one does not decide.

This year, Riot GIrl Fest proudly benefits Girls Rock Dallas.

Riot Girl Fest 2018 Line Up

Mydolls

Formed in 1978, Mydolls is a post-punk band from Houston, Texas, which recorded alongside Really Red on C.I.A. Records and appeared on screen in director Wim Wenders internationally acclaimed classic indie film, Paris, Texas. As one of Houston earliest punk bands, Mydolls created a DIY sound that was as ethereal, fluid and poetic. Politically charged and feminist. With 40 years of history, Mydolls continues to perform with their original lineup. In February 2018, Mydolls released their latest single, Easter, as a political anthem to resist the hateful rhetoric and actions of the current administration.
