You will not want to miss this incredible, educational and most of all DELICIOUS afternoon!
What better way to spend your day than learning why your glasses are so important to the wine you love and how freshly pressed estate-milled extra virgin olive oil can change your life!
The afternoon will start out with an educational Riedel Glass Seminar featuring four Riedel Glasses, Vinum XL set which includes Montrachet, Riesling Grand Cru, Oregon Pinot Noir, Cabernet, expertly paired with Durant Vineyards & Owen Roe wines! Riedel Region Territory Manager, Mari Beth Baumberger, will take you through the history of Riedel, explain the importance of glassware, and BLOW YOUR MIND with the fact that, “Glasses really do make a difference to the wine you drink!” After the class, each participant will take home with them the set of glasses they tasted from, so you will always have the correct glass!
After a short break of delicious small bites, the room will be transformed into all things EVOO. Oregon Olive Mill Ambassador, Libby Clow, will lead the class through an expertly tailored olive oil tasting! Four Oregon Olive Mill estate-milled extra virgin olive oils will be described, tasted alone and then savored with food. Much like wine and food pairings, olive oil can really enhance the flavors of your food.
All attendees will have the opportunity to purchase all the wines and olive oils tasted after the event. A special Durant/Owen Roe mixed wine case discount will be available. Additional Riedel Vinum XL sets will also be for sale.

Red Ridge Farms, as featured in Food & Wine Magazine and EveryDay with Rachael Ray magazine, is owned by the Durant family and is a unique destination in Oregon’s Willamette Valley with a nursery and garden shop, the Oregon Olive Mill, Durant Vineyards and a country cottage. The Durants planted their first vineyard in the Dundee Hills of Oregon in 1973 and are pioneers in Oregon’s wine industry. Many of the original vineyards continue to flourish and produce grapes today and Durant Vineyards provides wine grapes to the premier wineries in Oregon and produces over 1,600 cases of Pinot noir, Pinot gris and Chardonnay. Continuing to lead the way in agricultural ventures, the Durants opened Red Ridge Farms in 2001, a herb and specialty plant nursery, and have planted one of the largest olive groves in Oregon. At the Oregon Olive Mill, they process their olives into oil using olive varietals grown on site including: Arbequina and Picual from Spain, Leccino, Pendolino, and Coratina from Italy and Koroneiki from Greece. The bottled olive oil is augmented by additional olives from California as the trees reach their full maturity. The Oregon Olive Mill also houses an event space with a patio overlooking the Willamette Valley used for corporate and private events. Two lodging accommodations are available for guests at Red Ridge Farms, a one bedroom guest suite overlooking the valley and the two bedroom Stoneycrest cottage, which overlooks Durant Vineyards. Both properties are available to rent by the night, weekend or week and feature full kitchens and breathtaking views.
